Who we are

Being a student is an amazing time and here at HUCU we want to help you make the most of it! University is a strange place where people from all walks of life come together. It is a chance to learn more about yourself and make life long friends. Hull CU is the Christian Union of Hull University and is part of UCCF (Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship) which is a national student organisation. Our aim is to speak for Jesus and live for Jesus on the campus:

Live: we want to encourage Christians to live for Christ in every area of their lives. Speak: we want to proclaim the amazing hope we have in the gospel to students at Hull University

we hope that as we do that people will become Christians, and Christians will love and serve Christ more.

If you’ve never looked at what it is that Christians believe, then University is a great time to think about such things. Why not come to one of our meeting or events? Everybody is welcome to everything we put on - whatever your beliefs (even if only for the free food!).
