Freshers' Week

We will soon be in Freshers' Week once again and so it is once again time for lots of events, freebies and time for the Christian Union to reach out to the New Christians at university and non-Christians at university, get them to be a part of Churches and CU life or tell tell them the gospel message. CU Retreat 2010

Coming this year will be a CU weekend away. This will be the first time we have run a weekend away in a number of years, so it will be the most exciting yet. We would love for you to join us and we will give more details about it shortly.

Lending Library

We have a Lending Library. Check it out to find out what books are available and let us know of any books you'd be willing to lend. (read more)

Identity In Christ

In Semester One of the new academic year, we will be starting a new series called Identity Christ. As usual it will be on a Monday Night from 7:15pm starting on the 4th October

Hello and welcome to Hull University Christian Union.

It's a brand new year and brand new people will be joining us and others will have left. But for those of you joining us we are a group of students who love Jesus because of what he did for us. We believe that God sent his only son Jesus (who also is God) to die for us so that we can be forgiven and redeemed. What is more is it means we are now adopted as children of God. However it doesn't stop there, as Jesus is alive once again and he reigns. Jesus rose from the grave and is alive. We as Christians will get to spend eternity with him. This is exciting news, it is 'Good' news and that is why we exist, to tell every student on this campus about Jesus so that they may have an opportunity to know him and have a relationship with him.

We are also part of a larger organisation of Christian Unions across the country called UCCF.

On this site you'll find details of all the events that the CU is running. Whether you're a Christian, curious about Christianity, or just want to meet some people and get some of the free food and drinks, we would love to meet you, and hope that you find the CU somewhere you would like to be involved.
