Gospel Uniting

In 1 Corinthians 1:10 ESV Paul states "I appeal to you,
brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you
agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be
united in the same mind and the same judgement." As you can see be United around the central gospel message is so important. Divisions, as seen in the bible and in the history of our CU, cause massive damage to the work of God and to reaching others with the message of the gospel. By being divided, we destroy the gospel message from reaching others, by being united, we lift the gospel message up and exalt it to others. Secondary doctrines are for internal debate among Christians, but we must remain united around the Primary doctrines (the heart of the gospel message). |
