Why we meet

What’s the point in CU meetings when most people are already receiving teaching from their church? Well, firstly, CU allows you to make friends and receive encouragement from Christians at a similar point in life to you. This in turn allows us to unite and bring God’s message onto Hull University’s campus.

HUCU exists to glorify God and make disciples of Christ in Hull. We do this by uniting over the truth, regardless of denomination. We want everyone to have an opportunity to hear the gospel and to understand what it means for us today. HUCU is not a social society (although we can never resist a good party!). HUCU is simply God’s mission team on campus, and that is something we’re all very excited about!
