WHO AM I?

Hi, my name is David Eaves aka Dougal Jenkins / dougalj (its a long story, trust me) and this is my personal website. Ive created this webby as a tool for dispensing photos to my friends and for helping out people in need.

I have done many different jobs throughout my life that have challenged, bored, intrigued, tested and rewarded me. These have included cinema attendant in the West End, barman, Boots employee, Games coder and Primary School Teacher amongst many others! If you are particuarly interested in my teaching experience then I would reccomend heading over to my Work Section in order to grab some teaching notes and plans.

I am currently working as the 'Minister for Youth' at a Church called St Johns Newland in Hull, the hours are all over the place and its pretty tough going sometimes. Regardless of this however I believe it to be the best job I have ever had and find it rewarding and challenging attempting to make disciples for Christ in all age groups.

Alongside this hard work I also enjoy the odd computer game and my Gaming page is the homage to that (I do get out, don't worry). Blessed with average skills i can still hold my own against most people, so check out that section if you fancy.

Christianity is the most important aspect of my life and I also help run the website of the Hull University UCCF Christian Union so you are all more than welcome to visit that site also :)

Oh and now I'm married with a kid! How awesome is that :)

Not sure where God will take me in the future yet - whether its back to teaching or to youth work in a different place but I'll be sure to keep you posted.
